Viy - Sharing and Saving Platform

Viy is a mobile sharing and savings platform for easily sharing “things” with friends, family, and co-workers. We‘re redefining the peer-to-peer network by creating peer-to-peer inventories (or Divvies). And we think this will redefine ownership.

Organize and share items according to relationships, common interest and stages of life. Downloading Viy is the first step in opting-in to owning less and sharing more. Before you spend money on an item you may only use once or twice a year, check Viy before you buy it. Chances are, someone has it lying around the house.

We believe shared ownership of certain durable goods will reduce the impact to our wallets, our storage and our planet. Viy automatically calculates and tracks estimated money and space savings from “things” shared through the app. When we share more, we save more. Our savings algorithm is based on various data points within each item category including: number of items, cubic feet per item, and average retail price, to name a few.

Each new Viy account starts with three (3) Divvy credits and 25 Item credits. Going unlimited is quite simple. Earn unlimited credits by easily inviting your friends and family to join Viy. Once someone signs up from your invitation they count toward the goal of five (5) sign-ups.

Along the way, each sign-up earns you one (1) Divvy credit and 10 Item credits. Once you sign up five friends, your saving potential is truly, well, unlimited!
